Tim Schatto-Eckrodt participated in the International Summer School “Social Media as a Digital Agora for Arguments, Opinions, and Ideas?”, hosted by the Department of Social Psychology: Media & Communication at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. The 2nd interdisciplinary Summer School of the Digital Society research program funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia connect senior and junior scholars in workshops and lectures to outline a research agenda and develop specific research ideas. Tim Schatto-Eckrodt presented the topic of his dissertation “Conspiracy Theories in a Digital World: An old phenomenon in a new environment” in a poster session and participated in workshops held by Asst. Prof. Gina Masullo Chen and Prof. Shira Dvir Gvirsman.
