European Symposium Series on Societal Challenges in Computational Social Science

Research group PI Lena Frischlich visits this week the 2019 version of the European Symposium Series on Societal Challenges in Computational Social Science (#euroCSS) where she had been invited as discussant for data & societies’ media manipulation team leader Prof. Alice Marwick from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Their session on Disinformation in Context: Understanding Qualitative Approaches to Social Media Manipulation opened the main event on tuesday, 3rd of September. But Frischlich also was part of the selection comitee for the “Dataset Challenge 2019 –Machine Behavior Datathon” the day before.
